Strongly agree:

1- A multicultural education curriculum should be in place in every school.
3- All learning programs should accommodate <em style=”font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; color: var(–bb-body-text-color); background-color: var(–bb-content-background-color);”>all children with special needs.

Agree:
Neutral:
8- The United States should discontinue relations with countries that engage in human rights violations. (I don’t have an opinion on this.)
Disagree:
5- My curriculum should be based on each individual child’s current interests.
2- Families should <em style=”background-color: var(–bb-content-background-color); font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; color: var(–bb-body-text-color);”>not be expected to be involved in classroom activities.
Strongly disagree:
4- Some extended family members may confuse children, so they should <em style=”background-color: var(–bb-content-background-color); font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; color: var(–bb-body-text-color);”>not have a voice in raising or educating the child.
6- Diversity definitely includes race and culture, but <em style=”background-color: var(–bb-content-background-color); font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; color: var(–bb-body-text-color);”>doesn’t include age, ability or family make-up.
Point of view: Family, peers, education.

- What did you discover about the WACs while completing the activity? I discovered that they are very thorough, but for good reason. I wasn’t expecting there to be so many WACs.
- Were you surprised by any of the WACs? I was surprised that there was a long postings section. I never realized that thing like a “no smoking” sign needs to be posted.
- Can you see how the WACs will influence your day-to-day practice in caring for children? Why or why not? Yes I should and do see how the WACs will influence my day to day of caring for children. It will make me more purposeful with completing required trainings as well.
