I agree that children learn from physical interactions. There are more than enough opportunities for children to have screen time outside of school.

I would begin with empathy and ask what is preventing this parent from arriving on time and brainstorm some ideas and resources that can help. I would also review the section of pick-up times and policies from the parent handbook to explain the importance of promptness.

No surprises here. There are a fair number of WAC, but all are straightforward and reasonable. I feel like it is reassuring that there are clear parameters to follow.
