I ask them questions when they are playing, & engaging in what they’re doing. If we’re doing art i’ll ask them what color are you using, or asking what they’re drawing. Asking questions when they’re in the kitchen area, asking what are you cooking .. or what’s your favorite foods helps keeping them engaged. If i read a story i’ll ask questions throughout the story to make sure they’re understanding too

when creating daily schedules it is important to making sure it’s keeping the kids engaged & having fun. I usually make a list of things i want to plan for the day, I usually try & have a good transition trying to add music, or the clean up song. I try to have duties for the children to make them feel as if they have a role which they enjoy being the leader & taking turns.

A safe and clean environment where they kids can express themselves. Have fun, & learn. a well organized class as well is important.

I would prepare & have a script of what to say to the parents & have some examples & documentations ready on hand on ways the child has been struggling & ways for improve, coming up with a good plan.

I would give the parent a friendly reminder that we have to come to a conclusion to start getting her child on time & what are ways we can work through it. Possibly start a meeting if it continues & also maybe just come up with a new plan.
