I think it would be good to be prepared in advance. Have printed materials ready to show parents. Practice your conversation with a coworker so you’re better prepared. Be understanding towards parents and listen to them. Even if they are angry about what’s happening. Once feelings are out in the open then discussion can begin.

Since each child is in different stages of development it’s important for us to watch them to see where they are at in their development. Then when you have identified if they are on track or need a little help you can help them accordingly. It asl help us interact with each child and help develop them in individual ways.

Would definitely not want television is the classroom. Kid’s are going to veg out. The studies show that screen time is addictive.

Caregivers should pay attention and respond to the kid’s. Focus on their sounds and what they are looking at. Asks questions and wait for an answer from child. Give them positive feedback.

I would ask Mrs. Hopkins if there is anyway I can help her with her issue of running late. I’d ask if there was a reason and remind her gently that her baby needs to be picked up at 5:30.

WAC’s make sure that all children have access to high quality care and education no matter what their background is. And they make sure kids from all different walks of life can have a place to learn and thrive.

WAC basically gets everyone on point. Having all the rules in place allows teachers, institutions and parents to come together. It take a village is what the WAC means to me.
