    Good to hear you found something that works for you. Another suggestion may be to use play a specific song. Tell the children ahead of time you, when you hear this song that means it’s time to start cleaning up. When the song has played two times you should be all done cleaning up.

    I agree that it’s important to take your time so both parents and teachers understand one another. The phone translator is a great idea as well, I also think it’s important to begin learning some key words in their language. This will help in building a rapport with the parents and they will be very appreciative that you took the time to learn their language.

    Thank you for sharing. I am certain you will carry this with you for the rest of your life, but it is nice to hear that you are working in Early Childhood and trying to make a positive impact on children’s lives. I would highly suggest you take lots of positive guidance training. I think that will help you continue to stay positive with the children.
