I like to focus on spending time with myself and doing something that I like. This keeps me happy and looking forward to something positive. Like seeing my puppy or going on a hike, or going out to the restaurant that I love

We turn on our favorite songs and try to end the moment with the same calm song each time. We have also started doing the ice cube regulation. You melt away the frustration and emotions with the ice cube.

When I feel a little overwhelmed, I stepped outside get some sun for five minutes to calm myself down and I tell myself everyone is OK. You’re OK. You can do this and then when I get home, I take a bubble bath.

Yoga has been my savior at the end of the day. Even when I feel like I have no more energy to go to a class, I always remind myself of the feeling afterwards and how it continuously motivates me to eat healthy, go to sleep early, and keep my stress under control.

Chocolate or other treats, and even healthy snacks are always available for teachers. Puzzle books and coloring books are kept in the conference room for teachers to use.

When I feel stressed, I like to listen to music, go see my little cousin, or go on a walk when I am at home. But when I am stressed at work, I like to go little dances with the kids and it always helps us calm down.

Regular Exercise: Physical activities such as walking, running, or practicing yoga, as well as going to the gym, help me manage stress. Additionally, maintaining a healthy and nutritious diet is beneficial.

I take stress away by going to the water’s edge. When that isn’t available id breathe. I need to get more tools in my toolbox for handling stressors.

My go to way to distress is to take a relaxing bath with a good glass of wine and to have one day where I do absolutely nothing

To keep stressers away I try to give staff lots of break. Promote physical actitvity listen to calming music. Staff takes vacations when needed. They know when to move them out of a stressfull situation.learning to walk away or take a break.

During business hours, going outside with the children changes the atmosphere and allows children more space to move their bodies. This allows me as their provider to enjoy watching their free playtime interactions with each other. If the day has worn on me, I may nap along with the children to reset and revitalize myself for the afternoon. Having circule time to read books is a nice calm down period of the children and myself. Outside of business hours, I may choose to go for a walk or meet up with friends for some adult social time. If I choose to stay home, I often turn the lights out, put my feet up and my listen to music or watch a video/movie.

I would say that my self care stress tips would be to start the day with calming music and to pray each morning. I would also say that when I have time which hasn’t been recently I love to get my nails done.
