I learned a tremendous amount on WAC. I discovered that there is a lot of resources, i was surprised by the many different licensing’s. This information has influenced me to remeber we have so many resources at our fingertips.

I did not find anything surprising about the WACs I felt like they were all important items to note. I can see how the WACs will influence my day too day as I am more aware of the principles, and ideals for being a childhood educator. As well as, the correct verbiage to use, and to remain mindful of who your audience is.

The main thing I learned doing this activity was that the WAC was more detailed and easier to understand than some of my previous trainings had led me to believe. I was surprised to learn that *all* instances of restraining a child, even in a minor way, must be reported. I can see that many aspects of my day to day duties are addressed by the WAC.

I was some what familiar with WAC from the training I received. We had looked at the website and kind of glanced over the information. Going over it more in depth was helpful with giving me a better understanding of my classroom environment. Gave me ideas on how I can improve the outlay of my classroom to better educate my kids in a more open environment.

I learned that there are a lot more WACs/ rules and regulations than I had thought. I was surprised by the amount of training requirements and in-service training required. I am not sure this knowledge will effect my day to day routine but it does help me be more aware of what it takes to be a daycare professional.

I learned that the WAC’s are common knowledge for anyone who has worked in childcare before/has had training. Some things are very obvious to me but I see why they need to be outlined for the safety of children and in order to train others.

It was awesome to learn about and read the WAC’s, I wasn’t fully aware of the amount of detailed information each segment provides. I think this is a great resource to look into when you are feeling a bit lost and need formative direction in how to deal with and handle certain situations and scenarios. Also love having this handy to keep track of qualifications and licensee needs.

I discovered that each WAC is very thoroughly detailed and provides us with a fantastic resource. The only WAC that somewhat surprises me was how long documents regarding the business need to be kept for and what documents needed to be kept. I will use the WACs in my day-to-day life by thinking about what I know regarding the WACs before I make decisions or do things. I will also make sure that if I am ever uncertain about anything I can turn to the WACs as a resource.

I learned a lot about WACs and their importance in relation to early childcare. They provide a lot of resources for educators in a variety of forms, such as licensing specifications, guides on safety and health, and classroom activities. I was also surprised on how easy the WACs were to understand. Having these tools at my disposal will help me in the classroom to provide the best care to students and the environment and ensure safety .

What I discovered was that WACs provides a variety of resources for educators to assist with early childhood education in a variety of forms which included activities that we can use in the classrooms, guidelines on safety and health, also it provided licensing specification. I was not surprised with any of the WACs as of now, but I am sure that a long the way when I go over them again I will. I can see how the WACs will influence my day to day practice in caring for children because I know that whenever I am not sure of something that I need I can also look into that and it will help.

The WACS seem to have a lot of information on trainings that are required to be a child educator, which I feel like it should have a little more examples and ideas on how to engage with our young audience, it needs to be more up to date because it just doesn’t look interesting to read.

I learned a lot through WAC. The shear amount of regulations just made re-realize how big of a responsibility it is to take care of children. It has made me more aware of my actions when interacting with children, be more aware of my qualifications/requirements I need to meet to keep working with them, and gave me a guideline on what I need if I decide to pursue a higher level in this industry.

I see how the WAC influence the process in which a director, or facility has to operate and how the employees are chosen/hired. The WAC has many requirements that must be meet to open a early child learning facility and to maintain the facility and the operations of a healthy and safe environment for children.

Reading through the WACs made me realize that taking care of children is a huge responsibility and we should take it very seriously. Having read these rules and regulations has opened my eyes and made me want to become more aware of my surroundings and things that I will be dealing with in the foreseeable future.
