Breathing is my biggest one. I also take a moment every night to meditate.

I have found that deep breathing, walking, and reading for leisure is helpful for stress reduction.

Exercise really helps me release stress and feel good. I also like to take walks in the sunshine and drink coffee/tea.

One technique I’ve found helpful for releasing stress is deep breathing exercises, which allow me to pause and center myself when I’m feeling overwhelmed. Taking short breaks throughout the day to step outside or have a quiet moment can help reset my mind and relieve tension. Engaging in physical activity, like a quick walk or stretching, also helps release built-up stress and improves my mood. Talking to a colleague or someone I trust can be a great way to vent and gain perspective when things feel particularly challenging. Finally, practicing mindfulness and focusing on the present moment helps me stay grounded and manage stress more effectively.

Working with children is very rewarding and very emotional work. Are there any techniques you’ve found to release stress?- I try to always take my breaks alone , during my lunch break I like to go on a walk around campus. I also make sure to bring snacks so that I can eat them during my 15min breaks to make sure I am fed.

Every time I take a break, I think of it as another portion of my day that’s gone by. At lunch, which usually comes much quicker than I expect, I remind myself that half my day is over. When I’m feeling stressed during breaks, I’ll either read the news or something distinctly adult in nature on my phone, or do small tasks like organizing my personal calendar for the week or adding items to my grocery list. Once I’m off work, I listen to music, play video games, go for walks, and enjoy my much quieter home.

for me to release stress because working with the children, I would try to walk away and give positive thinking to mind after that take a deep breath 3 times. i also doing yoga for breathing exercise. Also don’t focus with the negative think, just trying to make it cheer up like collecting all positive energy. sometimes you too focus with the stress and forget about there are innocent children in front of you who still immature.

To release stress, I like to take a few deep breaths, talk with a coworker, or write down something positive from my day. Even a short walk or listening to music after work helps me recharge. Taking care of myself helps me be better for the children.
