I am a list person and have found the better me app to be very helpful. When laundry needs to be done I put it in before work and then dry it when I get home and do a quick 15 minute clean up in the morning before work and right before bed. Having a clean home makes me feel less stressed. I am trying to work on working out and exercising more whether it be 10 minutes or 30 minutes anything I think helps.

Going on a walk to get some fresh air can be really helpful and give you a few minutes of break from the stressful environment or situation, taking deep breathes and doing some meditation at the end of the day has also been a great way to relax and calm the mind and body.

Working with children can be stressful. It is important to feel that stress and recognize when you are feeling stressed. You never want to take your stress out on the children you are working with. Communicate with your team about how you are feeling and how they can support you. Take a break outside of the classroom to decompress and come back when you are feeling less stressed.

Of course there are, such as breathing exercises and chai tea bags with a sprinkle of cinnamon to sniff to relax.

Yes, when I feel stressed, I take a few deep breaths, step outside for fresh air if I can, or listen to music on my break. Talking to a trusted coworker also helps. Even small moments of calm can make a big difference in resetting my mindset.

One of the best ways to relieve stress is taking my breaks to go over everything that has happened mentally, and remember the reason I chose this field, I repeat it as a sort of mantra which helps me reinstate those beliefs and continue working to do my best.
