I think variety is incredibly important in any early learning environment. It’s hard to keep kids engaged if there is no occasional variety in activities.

An environment where the children feel welcome and invited, people are kind and teachers are helpful. There are activities for all kinds of different interests that also help them use all different senses. Activities are easily accessible and they can move from one to the next making choices they are confident in.

Research tells us preschool-age children learn best in environments where they can have secure relationships with caring and responsive adults, where they feel safe, and where they feel free to explore and learn.

si, me parece muy importante los espacios ludicos para el desarrollo motriz de los niños, donde puedan saltar, hacer equilibrio, rodar, trepar, lanzar y atrapar, si el niño se le estimula esta parte será muy beneficioso para su parte cognitiva.

I believe that an environment where the children feel welcome and invited is important. We can do that by making sure the environment is nurturing, attractive, organized and functional. An environment where people are
kind and teachers are helpful. Having activities for all kinds of
different interests that stimulates the senses is also important.

Something I think is important to include in a good early learning environment is a quiet time or cozy area that children can go to when they are overwhelmed or upset and need some space to feel their feelings. For that to be a quality area I think that children need to be allowed to access that area when they need to as long as they are doing so in a safe way (if the quiet time area is closed for most of the day except an hour or two in the morning… it’s not accessible to them) and it shouldn’t be used as a punishment (“since you’re getting so upset, you need to go to the cozy corner until you calm down” feels like a punishment to an upset child, even if you mean it in a way where you’re trying to help). Of course there are lots of other things that go into a good environment but this is a detail that I think is very important.

Yes, I think it’s important to have a variety of thing for the kids to play with so that they don’t get bored and can stay active.

Also, it’s important to have an organized room so that it’s easier to clean and so that the children can play without it being chaotic.

everything in the classroom sized based off age groups height and interests is very important to be accommodating to them as this is their space and we are the teachers, I think having different actives too is very important having the classroom spilt up with different things for them to do.

I think it’s important to have a room with a good flow and areas for loud play, quiet play, eating, and open space for reading and group activities

I think it is important to have a welcoming environment to children and families. Also, to have child sized furniture and regularly updated activities that are inviting and engaging.
