MemberSeptember 21, 2023 at 6:43 pmMy biggest worry is that I or a co-worker would make a mistake that would jeopardize a child’s physical or emotional well being and diminish trust with the caregivers and child.

– I have several worries about children’s health such as child abuse and neglect. Poor treatment of children or bullying at school is a high risk of suffering psychological problems in the future, such as depression, anxiety disorders and suicidal thoughts.

MemberSeptember 24, 2023 at 5:04 pmMy biggest worry is the sociopolitical condition of the United States right now and how institutions consisting of larger groups of kids are at risk of gun violence. This fear can be countered by getting a better understanding of the security procedures we have in place at our facilities.

MemberSeptember 25, 2023 at 12:42 amMy biggest worry is about allergens. With so many different staff members, it can be hard to stay on top of food allergens, especially for little kids who are more likely to want to grab things from each others plates. Environmental allergens like latex are also tricky because these objects are so commonplace.

MemberSeptember 25, 2023 at 2:29 amMy biggest worry about keeping children safe is the increase we have seen with gun violence, especially at schools. It is very scary and it’s hard to not worry. My other worry is that I will not be able to act quickly enough in a fast moving, critical situation.

My biggest worry about keeping children healthy and safe is the ever-evolving landscape of risks and challenges they face in today’s world. From the potential dangers of technology to the complexities of navigating social interactions, ensuring their well-being requires a vigilant and adaptable approach. It’s concerning how external factors like environmental changes and unforeseen global events can impact children’s health and safety. To address these worries, it’s crucial to stay informed, continuously update safety protocols, and foster open communication with parents and caregivers to collectively navigate these challenges and provide the best possible care for children.

MemberOctober 1, 2023 at 2:08 amMy biggest concern for keeping children safe is the world. Unfortunately, school shootings have happened regardless of age, child predators are around and abuse happens. You never really know what someone around you is capable of.

When we have kids that can hit on impulse, it makes me worry that I didn’t stop them in time and other children are serously hurt.

My biggest worry is about not knowing about the child’s physical well-being, medications, and allergies. What I want to learn, is how to address this area, and what resources I need to ensure the child gets the proper care.

MemberOctober 18, 2023 at 10:45 pmI have a couple worries, one being I am worried that the children in my care will get majorly hurt and I won’t know how to help them. My second worry is that a child will be showing signs if serious sickness bigger than a cold or flu, and I won’t recognize the symptoms and I won’t do anything about it.
