My biggest worry in regard to keeping children healthy and safe is that the atrocities of the world make their way to children far too early, disrupting their ability to play and explore their sense of self.

I am most interested in learning the ways in which I can identify healthy and safe environments for children.

My worries are if the chuldren is under my care and accident happened like for example He/she bumped her head and fainted, severe bleddung cause of the accident. I also worry about the shotting that usually happens in school. Although you have a training for that but you still have fear.I also worry if there will be earthquake and fire.

I worry a lot about internet access and also just their overall safety while going to school with all the gun violence in our country today. I also worry about them not being fully supervised and getting hurt, or what types of germs and sicknesses they’re exposed to around other kids.

Internet, school shootings, drugs, Alcohol. These are the things that worry me the most for the children we are helping to raise.

I think my biggest worry is that I’m not going to be able to care for them correctly, or that I won’t be able to provide what they need in order to stay healthy and safe.

My biggest worry is sending my future kids to school with the amount of mass shootings that have been happening at schools. I also am extremely worried about sleep overs or even leaving my child in someone else supervision even if I believe the person is trustworthy. I know too many people affected by sexual assault when staying at a family friends house or even in their own house. Honestly everything terrifies me because you can never trust someone else motives.

Q1. What is your biggest worry about keeping children healthy and safe?

Keeping the children healthy and safe is a part of my responsibility as a caregiver. But it is also the parent’s responsibility. Sometimes they are under stress, job/home life, and send their children to school when they are unwell and should have been kept home. The unwell child can get the other children sick, as well as the staff.

Q2. What are you most interested in learning?

A2. I am most interested in learning more in-depth of how to keep the children safe, and healthy (emotionally, physically, and socially) their over all well-being.

My biggest worry in regard to keeping children healthy and safe is how we can prevent them from unexpected incidents like choking, hurting etc..

Seems like my biggest worry is similar to everyone elses. School shootings have become something to be prepared for and to expect which is terrifying. Something happening at the school that I need to protect the children in.

The biggest fears of mine are: making the wrong decision, and a child hurting another.

School shootings is my biggest fear about safety. I don’t know how you could ever be fully prepared for something like that happening.

My concern about keeping children safe is if they get hurt while under my care, they fall, another kid hits/pushes/etc or if they run out of the building. I know I am responsible and it is a big job.

It is definitely based on peer interactions. It is impossible to keep eyes and ears on every child. at every second. Sometimes if I am handling a situation, something else happens and I am worries that I will miss something.

Keeping the children safe during sudden natural disasters, emergencies such as a shooting, and potential freak accidents.
