My biggest worry is missing something when considering safety. I know that you can’t cover everything and there will be unexpected situations but it’s hard to know that some things are out of your control.

My biggest worry about keeping children healthy and safety is protect children from activities that hinders their physical/mental development. I worry about the childcare center that does not create a very safe, comfortable and active environment for children that aids their development.

My biggest worry is we can teach children everything we know, yet there are still awful people in the world that can change what they know into something different in a second. Children are very impressionable and very curious, that’s why you have to be so mindful at all times when are children.

MemberApril 27, 2024 at 8:46 pmIt is hard to navigate which children have specific allergies, because certain allergies do not develop until later in life, so that could be a main stress. It is also hard to always keep your eyes on every single child, all the time, so just the unknown of if a child will act out on another can be a fear as well.

MemberApril 27, 2024 at 9:30 pmThere are a lot of things about worrying about a child’s safety it could be bullying their child coming home from school hurting the parent could also feel like the child isent getting enough for their cognitive development. The biggest concern is that child abuse and neglect pose a risk to the health and well-being of children.

MemberApril 29, 2024 at 11:09 amI think my biggest worry about keeping children healthy and safe is things happening that are out of my control. For example school shootings, intruders, environmental disasters are all situations that are very dangerous that need serious action. This also applies to kids because they are very impulsive and spontaneous that things can change in a matter of seconds from good to bad.

Some of my biggest worries are gun violence and the recent prevalence in school shootings, dealing with an emergency situation if I am alone with multiple children, not knowing what the child is dealing with at home (dishonesty from parents or potential abuse that isn’t communicated), exposure to the internet.

MemberApril 29, 2024 at 10:32 pmMy biggest worry would have to be the nature of the current world we live in right now, school shootings or violence in general, and I even worry if what I do is enough to protect the children.
