Im most worried about what may happen to child when they do not have my full attention of focus, keeping 20-30 children in line can be hard especially when they are at a younger age.

My biggest worry about keeping children safe is the possibility of shootings, natural disasters, and intruders. My classroom is an open air classroom in our center, so there is only a half wall. The idea of trying to rush them into the adjoining classroom in an emergency stresses me out.

My biggest worry about keeping children healthy and safe is the unknown. Things that are out of my control. There are many things I have control over, but there also are many things that are inevitable. Sickness, accidents, tough days, a lot of these things arise when we least expect it. Some children come to school sick without knowing it, and viruses are spread amongst the kids before us as caregivers know. If a child slips and falls and gets a cut on their knee, sometimes there is nothing we can do to prevent these types of things. All I can do is prepare myself and have the tools and knowledge needed to give the best care if and when something should happen. I worry about the outside dangers of this world with the way things are. School violence and tragedies are far more common than they once were, and it can be a cause of tension or stress.

Access to things via internet that they shouldnt have access to at young ages. I’m most interested in learning about best practices on keeping children safe in a classroom setting.

A major worry for many parents regarding children’s health and safety is the potential for exposure to online dangers and cyber bullying due to the increasing prevalence of internet use, alongside concerns about physical safety like accidents, unhealthy eating habits, and lack of physical activity.

Too many concerns about the children’s safety, Social media and predators, bullieng, drugs and alcohol, right now in middle school the vaping, violence and shootings….. with smaller kids everything because they are not aware of danger, they can get hurt easily by climbing or running. 8 want to be able to have at all times full attention to them…

My biggest fear is dealing with violence outside the classroom. There seem to be more rights to protect and hoard wealth then there are for protecting children and the strain that puts on the educators, parents and children is one I cannot protect the children from. I think schools should be secure environment with security points be it key coded doors etc.

One of the biggest worries about keeping children healthy and safe is the impact of too much screen time. It can lead to being inactive, trouble sleeping, and exposure to harmful content. Plus, making sure they eat well and get emotional support is really important. We need to create a balanced environment that helps them grow strong and happy

My biggest worry about keeping children safe is the world that we live in and how increasingly divided our country has become. Gun violence at school has just become part of the norm and that is terrifying.

My biggest worry about keeping children healthy and safe is how my own actions and behavior may effect their development. As humans we cannot be perfect 100% of the time and that goes for in the classroom. I hope this class addresses how we as educators can take accountability for mistakes with our students in an appropriate way.

My biggest worry about keeping the children safe is acts of violence. I know while they are with me, they will be safe, but what about those who are in a homeless situation? What about the child who comes to school hungry or dirty. How am I to keep the child safe while in my care when their life is so complicated as it is.
