My biggest worry is children getting hurt or lost. Gun violence is a huge issue. I am most interested in learning how to be active and protect kids.

My biggest worry about keeping children face is the constant and scary change that continues to happen in our society. You never truly know what can happen the minute you walk through those doors to begin the day. But at the end of the day, it is our job to always put in 100% effort to make sure these children are safe the minute they are in our care. We do what we can to protect.

My biggest worry is the things I cannot control, the outside world we live in, school shootings etc

One of my biggest worries would be not seeing the signs that something was wrong when I could have, or making a call based off of warning signs that is incorrect that may cause harm.

My biggest worry is other children being the reason another child is hurting. Some kids can be so mean and not even realize they are hurting someone. Kids rely on their friends to be best friends and it can be very devastating when the friend hurts them.

My biggest worry about keeping children safe currently is the world that we live in and the social-political climate. School shootings have gone from something out of the norm to something to be expected, and that terrifies me when it comes to keeping the children safe.

I worry about a lot of things in the world we are in. Mental health is a huge one for me, mental health has been declining and becoming an issue for many people and that can lead to all sorts of things, gun violence, substance abuse, and many other things.

My biggest worry about keeping children in my care healthy and safe is that at the age level I’m working with 1-12mo, there is a great discrepancy between abilities of children. Much of my time is spent in ensuring that the rambunctious movers don’t accidentally harm the younger less mobile ones. There’s also the fact that ever child at this age explores with their mouth and it’s a constant battle to not have germs spread because 1 of 3 children have a runny nose on any given day.

My biggest concern about keeping children safe is not being able to control everything that happens in the classroom. There are other children who may hit or kick and sometimes kids are just walking and fall down.

My biggest worry about keeping children safe if an emergency or injury happening while children are in my care. As well as becoming aware of an abusive situation and making sure that I “do enough and the right thing” to keep that child safe and ensure that their situation becomes more safe.

My biggest worry about keeping children safe and healthy are them hurting themselves on accident and/or potentially being exposed to sexual abuse, physical abuse, and gun violence.

My biggest worry about keeping children safe is the high levels of violent crimes being committed the last few years in my area especially. It makes me wonder what more can we do to keep the children from entering dangerous situations especially as they enter grade school where violence continues to spring from. Another worry is accidental injury, children pushing each other or fighting to rough, and of course the possibility of abuse such as what I experienced growing up.
