    Sing and dance to fun learning songs to help boost their energy, while also making sure they feel comfortable and are enjoying the activity. Make arts and crafts with them, do sensory activities, sit down with them and read books, play outdoors, and again, while making sure they are comfortable in that space and are enjoying the activities.

      This is so well rounded! Singing and dancing really gets the kids engaged and boosts their energy while keeping it fun. Playing outside and ensuring they feel comfortable is key to keeping everything enjoyable and relaxed for them.

    yeah, I prefer using cones,balls,basckets and obstacle course running. The klids have so much fun and it keep their heart pumpiung better. outdootr music setup, climbing structure, scooters and bikes all contribute to it.

    I believe listening to and singing songs that they like dancing to is a good idea. Also putting things on the floor like hopscotch and other games.

    Use Music and Rhythm

    Active Music Time: Play lively music and encourage children to dance, jump, or move in rhythm.

    Action Songs: Incorporate action songs into your daily routine. Songs like “Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes” or “If You’re Happy and You Know It” encourage children to follow movements as they sing along.

    Storytime with Movement: During story time, act out parts of the story. For example, if the story mentions animals, children can mimic the animal movements (e.g., slithering like a snake, jumping like a frog).

    Outdoor Play: If you have access to an outdoor space, make sure children spend plenty of time running, climbing, and engaging in physical play.

    Incorporate physical activity in your everyday class schedule such as yoga, dance party, meditation, etc.

    My teachers use Go Noodle and of course there are lots of songs and fingerplays that require movement.

    Make it fun in class by singing, dancing, playing, learning, and etc. with each other.

    You could model appropriate and positive behaviors to promote children to interact with each other and include others in their play. Along with praising children when they include other children in their play or activities.

    Start the mornings off with greeting the students, help them feel comfortable, acknowledge good work and teamwork, and just do your best to be welcoming and positive.

    There is always a greeting when they first meet. Competitions and prizes are organized to know whether to lose or win.

    Include physical play in a classroom setting, rather than only fine motor play with toys. The class could pass a ball back and forth, do yoga/stretching, walk around the room like different animals, practice spinning jumping balancing on one foot ect. You can keep children engaged in these activities by encouraging them to choose a yoga pose, animal walk, or silly move for the class to try.
