For a fun and safe, but physically active classroom, one could include things like a stereo or CD/music player to engage in music and movement/dance parties with the children to get them up and moving, and possibly, soft, fun-shaped objects that the children could safely climb on indoors.

I would plan age-appropriate activities. Set up your classroom to encourage physical activity. Incorporate movement into lessons. For example having children act out a story, or use movement to learn math concepts (like jumping as they’re counting). Provide opportunities for unstructured play and exploration. Last suggestion would be whenever possible, take children outside to play. Being outside provides endless opportunities for physical activity and exploration, and also a much-needed break from being indoors.

if we are unable to go outside, then we could try stretch breaks, or a small exercise to at least let them move their bodies. we can encourage them throughout the day and remember to be thoughtful of what their home situation is like as well.

My tips would be to keep with the times and continue to change as things change. Be capable of adapting.

The easiest wya might be to have small toys inside such as a mini basketball or soccerball or even bean bags. These can be used in class as well and tossed around to keep children engaged.

We can play songs about parts of the body and do some fun dancing while we learn them.

We can do some fun yoga postures that kids can do.

Tenemos una canción en la que llamamos el nombre de cada niño y hacemos que salten, se den la vuelta, toquen el suelo y se sienten. También hacemos “yoga” y estiramientos cuando no podemos salir al aire libre.Tenemos una canción en la que llamamos el nombre de cada niño y hacemos que salten, se den la vuelta, toquen el suelo y se sienten. setting a set routine for the children by greeting them at the door, and having a meal, doing circle time where you sing and go over what to expect during the day etc.

I think assigning jobs allows for every one in the classroom to participate, psychically and mentally.

This allows for the children to socialize and move around and giving them a sense of responsibility.

Incorporate games and songs that involve physical movement. If you as the provider are involved and moving around, the children will follow along. I feel like it is natural for children to be active so build off of their energy and find things that work to keep them active.
