Try to play to the children’s interests. If they love a specific character bring them into your stories and games outside to help promote engagement in the physical activity.

Something I do at my center is “dance parties” throughout the day. We turn on a fun YouTube video, and dance for a solid 15-45 minutes.

greet them at the door and ask them about their day and try to have a conversation they can participate in, along with asking how they feel and giving them some time to explore and do what they feel like doing.

You can create a developmentally appropriate, fun, and physically active classroom by incorporating games, 60 minutes of structured and 60 minutes of unstructured physical activity every day, and taking an active role in outdoor play.

Circle time is where i find the most interaction and acknowledgement for each child. we sing songs where i am able to say hello to each child while asking them to move their bodies which they love so much
