    these guidelines were written intentionally. safety, security, and schedule are all important to a healthy child development.

    Yes, in the event of emergencies or nuanced situations, written policies can be incredibly helpful.

    I think clear written expectations are always helpful in any setting. Even small things like how transitions are worded are helpful to have written guidelines. Teachers responding and doing the same things the same ways is key to a well ran center.

    The policies would be helpful/ useful in incidents of accidental injury, any emergency evacuations, and even bullying.

    The policies would be useful in almost any situation that arises, whether it is an accident/injury, illness, emergency, and if you witness any type of behavior from an adult that shows they are treating the child negatively such as using spanking and yelling. These policies help us to better help the children and their families.

    Yes, the childcare programs written guidance will be extremely helpful during situations involving illness, safety concerns, accidents, emergency situations and many other scenarios.

    Yes, because we’ve learned that we can refer back to reports and guidelines during times of emergency, or other moments when we need it. Since most of these regulations and guidelines are put in place for a reason, it is a trustworthy resource.

    Yes, I think they are very beneficial and good to have when considering what courses of action to take if someone is unsure how to resolve an incident or they needed a reminder of the “the program’s positive approach to guidance.”
