MemberJuly 5, 2024 at 6:47 pmIf you were giving a prospective parent a tour through your program, what safety procedures would you highlight?
I would show them the secured accessed door, gate alarms, first aid kits, and then inform them of the policies we have in place such as how many times we do fire drills, lock downs and severe weather drills and inform about the safety policies

I would show them the bathrooms, kitchen, first aid, disaster plan, emergency map, and I would also show them the outside and review the meeting points in care of an emergency.

I would introduce the family to the classroom, then give them a more in depth tour. I would
point out the exit/entrance, bathroom(s), sinks, hand washing locations, and the myriad of safety
precautions we have put into place to keep their child safe. I would also indicate where we store sensitive information and how we have secured it so only those who need it are able to view it, etc. -
