GuestJanuary 9, 2025 at 11:41 pmHaving a website that offers information with pictures, testimonials, tuition rates, sample lesson plans, and daily schedules seems to work best. I also feel having a digital parent portal for direct messaging, and pictures have been a game changer.

GuestJanuary 10, 2025 at 2:07 amWe are constantly giving our website a refresh and changing things that are and are not working. User friendliness is extremely important. We also use Facebook and Instagram to advertise in local groups and to post regularly to give people an idea of what our program looks like day to day. We also encourage our families to write Facebook and google reviews to let people know what our current/past families think about our program!

GuestJanuary 14, 2025 at 3:28 pmIn today’s digital age, content marketing, social media marketing, and search engine optimization (SEO) are highly effective methods for attracting and retaining parents. These strategies cater to the way parents consume information and make decisions online. Engaging with parents on platforms they use: like Facebook, Instagram, or Pinterest allows you to connect with them on a personal level and build relationships. Sharing valuable content, running contests, or hosting live Q&A sessions: can encourage engagement and create a sense of community. Using targeted advertising: to reach specific parent demographics on social media can help you reach your ideal audience.

GuestFebruary 7, 2025 at 7:37 pmUsing the internet is a vital tool to keep parents engaged. This could be with an SEO friendly website. These keywords will help with reach across the web as people try to find the center in their area, etc. Also using social media should not be ignored because it’s a way for parents to get a more real-time look at actities at the daycare.
-
Lakia, great point! SEO and social media are key in making your childcare center visible and engaging to parents in real-time.

GuestFebruary 7, 2025 at 8:07 pmI would say that social media plays a huge role in advertisement. I would build a page in which I would lay out exactly what is provided and all the ways in which your questions could be answered without putting out too much information. Free tours and maybe discounts for mentioning the add, or refreshments and guided tours to entice families to come in and see the classrooms and meet the teachers.
-
Tasha, I love your idea of using social media for clear, engaging communication and offering incentives like tours and discounts! Great approach!

GuestMarch 26, 2025 at 7:25 pmIn my experience, <strong data-start=”102″ data-end=”128″>social media marketing, especially through <strong data-start=”149″ data-end=”161″>Facebook, has been the most effective way to reach parents and keep them engaged with our program. I frequently use <strong data-start=”269″ data-end=”278″>Canva to create visually appealing flyers and announcements that are easy to share and help maintain a professional and consistent brand presence.<b data-start=”423″ data-end=”465″><strong data-start=”428″ data-end=”463″>Best Digital Marketing Methods: <strong data-start=”469″ data-end=”491″>Facebook Marketing – Many parents are active on Facebook, making it an ideal platform for promoting our program. I post regular updates, event reminders, and engaging content like photos and testimonials to build trust and keep families informed. <strong data-start=”725″ data-end=”753″>Canva for Visual Content – I create eye-catching flyers for open enrollments, special events, and policy updates. Having visually appealing graphics helps capture attention and makes information more digestible for busy parents. <strong data-start=”963″ data-end=”992″>Procare App Communication – Since rolling out <strong data-start=”1013″ data-end=”1024″>Procare, we’ve streamlined direct communication with parents. Sending updates, reminders, and emergency alerts through the app has improved parent engagement and reduced the need for excessive emails or phone calls. <strong data-start=”1238″ data-end=”1265″>Google Business Profile – Keeping our Google listing updated with accurate contact information, photos, and reviews helps us attract new families searching for childcare options in our area. <strong data-start=”1438″ data-end=”1477″>Parent Testimonials & Word-of-Mouth – Encouraging happy parents to leave <strong data-start=”1515″ data-end=”1535″>positive reviews on Facebook and Google has been a great way to attract new families. Personal recommendations are still one of the most powerful marketing tools. <strong data-start=”1687″ data-end=”1710″>Email & Newsletters – While social media is our main focus, sending out occasional <strong data-start=”1774″ data-end=”1795″>email newsletters ensures that important updates reach all families, even those who don’t check Facebook regularly. By combining <strong data-start=”1910″ data-end=”2024″>engaging visuals (via Canva), social media outreach, Procare communication, and strong word-of-mouth marketing, we’ve been able to <strong data-start=”2045″ data-end=”2133″>increase enrollment, improve retention, and keep parents well-informed and connected to our program.
