GuestNovember 5, 2025 at 1:16 amOne of my best time-saving hacks is leaving the chairs and tables as they are after cleaning up from lunch time; by doing so once nap has started and all the kids are asleep it is easier to set out bowls/water cups and/or bibs so afternoon snack is already mostly set to go besides setting food out in their dishes. The transition from waking up to eating snack can be hard for some of them and it is less work for the teachers and quicker to wash hands and go sit with less prep time being needed.A golden moment would be when we all work together to clean toys up before playing outside, and the children are learning to identify their toys, working on their receptive and verbal language, and understanding where their toys go in the room, as well as learning that when we make a mess we can clean it up and we don’t have to do it alone.

GuestNovember 7, 2025 at 3:22 amMy best time-saving hack as someone who’s definitely NOT a morning person is to set out/prepare everything you can the night before, like your outfit, what you’ll need for breakfast, and even setting out your toothbrush and facewash so you don’t have to go searching for anything at 6 am. One golden moment was after I’d had my class for about 1 month, when I really drilled in the routine, and I watched my class of 3-year-olds eat their lunches, throw them away, wash their hands, find their own beds, and put themselves to sleep with little to no redirection or reminders.

GuestNovember 10, 2025 at 8:54 pmWhen I actually took the time to prepare all the things i was going to need for the whole week, plus also making to extra activities just in case I ended up needing them, just to have it as back up, turn out to be great to fill out the gaps in between

GuestNovember 11, 2025 at 6:07 pmWhile cleaning up and closing down, also prepping and setting aside the nexts days schedule and activities. Instead of taking the time to clean and pick up, have the kids practice picking up after themselves, by letting them put away there activity before moving on to the next one

GuestNovember 16, 2025 at 4:10 amFor me to keep me organize, I set up a timer so then I just tell the kids that is time to move to the next task and also delegate things that they have to do.

GuestNovember 19, 2025 at 12:04 amMeal- prepping is a HUGE time saver for me. I make a menu on Sundays, go to the store, and meal prep everything for the week. By doing this, when I get home from work, I have time to sit and have some “me time” before dinner with my family. This allows for less thinking when I come home and more down time so that I can BREATHE!

GuestNovember 24, 2025 at 6:12 amI plan everything ahead of time, I start prepping things for next week on Wednesday the week before. My students are two and when it’s time to clean up I take advantage of their abilities and they do most of that work. I always have a backup plan in case chaos occurs.

GuestNovember 26, 2025 at 2:34 amOne of my life saving hacks has been meal planning for the week it saves so much of my time! A golden moment is when me and my co-teacher have prepped and got a certain activity ready for the next day. It makes the transition to an activity so much easier for us and the children.

GuestNovember 29, 2025 at 7:40 pmI use a color coded/checklist system in my planner so I can keep up with my schedule. And I prep the day before if I can for intensive tasks.

GuestDecember 1, 2025 at 9:11 amSome of the best time saving hacks I’ve used are having older kids help prep material. Small groups at a time for hand washing and keeping activities organized in the day by room or area.

GuestDecember 1, 2025 at 9:10 pmHello,My best hacks for success are to allow myself buffer time especially commuting to work in the morning. I also like to take short breaks to not burn myself out. Deep breaths. While a task that takes a while is going, I do other things. Such as laundry, food cooking in the oven, or phone calls where I can multitask.

GuestDecember 2, 2025 at 4:14 amI like when in between nap and lunch I have enough time to clean up all the food and three step the tables before all the kids are done washing their hands before nap so I can spend more time helping the all get to sleep and I agreee with another comment saying making cleaning up a game so it doesn’t feel like a chore
