I use daily lists to keep on track. I mark them complete when done which helps me feel successful. I want to prioritize taking breaks to keep my energy up. I am not doing well at that at all.

I have a daily journal that I make 3 plans for. Things I need to get done the next day, next week and next month.I then prioritize what needs to be done in order of importance. This helps me a lot because I can also look back in my daily journal and see what I have accomplished the past few weeks which encourages me.

In the afternoons, when there’s a lot to get done before we go, I typically allow the children to help me with tasks that they enjoy assisting with.

golden moment for me was my bed routine. I figured out a way to have the kids help distribute beds and it saves time and gets everyone involved makikng their own beds independently

I think what helps me is to have a weekly plan with goals, and then break them down in daily tasks to reach it. I need to visually see what is on my plate so I can check it off one by one. I have started reflecting on what has worked and what has not worked for me.

Staying organized and positive helps alot in planning ahead, I try to plan things at least ten minutes minimum before our activities are due to start wich helps us have more time for the actual activities and less time worrying about setting up. I also plan clean up for activities into activity time so we don’t go over in time.

Having a checklist for the day of task is my biggest help in getting things done. I see it staring at me and I now it’s a must. I will also prioritize stuff in order. The golden time for me as a teacher was during nap time to get lots done. Cleaning, planning, and prepping.

You have to schedule in time on the calendar to breathe and talk a walk, otherwise it will never happen. I had Friday walk days.

A time saving hack is to prepare my activities as I’m watching my favorite show.

My favorite thing to do is making a list and/or using a daily planner. This way I am able to see what I need to do each day and it helps me manage that time based off what I have left to do.

While I can’t organize my OWN life and work time – when it comes to special events/fields trips – I am really great at time management. Recently we took the kids on a field trip. I went ahead and planned out the route we would take, time for potty breaks, snacks/lunch, and then a hike. I built in extra time for each activity to ensure we would arrive back at the center on time. However – the itinerary I gave the staff didn’t have that extra time “shown”. We ended up being able to arrive back 30 minutes earlier than the itinerary – but still 15 minutes later than the earliest we could have. I felt that building in this extra time for things like traffic, kids taking longer to go potty, etc helped us to have a fun and much less stressful trip!

To help save time, I like to keep things very organized so I don’t have to spend a ton of time looking for things. I also have a running to-do list that helps me prioritize tasks that need to get done.

My golden moment was finding and utilizing the “Paper House” planner. I love technology but there’s something about hand writing my schedule/ plans is just satisfying. The planner has monthly calendars and weekly calendar swell. The weekly portion is subdivided into 3 sections which I like to use as: self, home, and work. There is space for notes and reminders as well.
