Screen time is used for lessons occasionally. When used it is for 15-20 minutes.

At our child development center, we focus on person-to-person interactions and learning. We don’t use iPads, and generally don’t use TV programs or movies. We do use children’s music online to bolster our music library.

I work with the YMCA for the school program and we don’t do tv time because they are only there in the morning until the bus comes but if it a full day at the YMCA, there would be options

We do not have cable television at our facility. Students are limited to 15 minutes of technology. The other 6 hours are used for student:staff interactions.

Our center does not allow screen time except maybe 3-4 times a year for special occasions. It is hard competing for attention with tablets and television. I believe children should have limited amounts of screen time and use their imagination as much as possible.

Screen time is not allowed for the toddlers at my center. Preschoolers (ages 3-5) are allowed to watch a movie or show on a rare occasion, like for Christmas. Overall, though, it is not allowed at the center I work at.

Screen time is not allowed at the day care I work at except for a special event. For example, every Monday we have chapel and the kids watch a 2 minute video about a bible story.
