No there is no screen time at my childcare. Whenever we see the kids are more overwhelmed we make sure to give them more outside time as per weather forecast or read them more books or give them something which is sensorial.

We do not have rule for screen time, but we don’t use screen time a lot. Our practice does not have any screen time whatsoever. In fact, we don’t have any screens available at all. I think that this should be the case for just about any childcare center, there are many other activities that can fill up the same time that screen time would.

At the center where I work screen time is very rare. We only use it to watch children’s programs while preparing lunch. We also use it to watch a movie for the last 1 hour or 1 hour 30 minutes of the day while kids are waiting for their parents to pick them up. On certain holidays we may use it to watch a holiday themed movie during the day!
