GuestJanuary 4, 2025 at 9:57 pmThere aren’t any rules set at our school for this, the students do their work on iPads daily, as far as the younger students it’s up to the teacher to make that call.

GuestJanuary 16, 2025 at 7:03 pmYes, we have a daily limit for 30 minutes for children. They are also only allowed to play on teacher approved sites/learning.

GuestJanuary 17, 2025 at 5:37 amWe are limited to a couple hours of screen time per week. Also we are not allowed to watch screens during snack. As a site director I organize the schedule and we watch a movie on the 3 rd Friday of the month and limit other screen time to scientific/educational content or “just dance “ physical activities

GuestJanuary 22, 2025 at 3:32 pmNo we do not have a screen time rule set in place, but most teachers in our program use it only as a once in a while transition, or to show a concept to the lesson they are teaching that day.

GuestJanuary 25, 2025 at 12:53 amWe are a screen free facility and I think that this is very important, as kids often are at homes on their screens.

GuestFebruary 3, 2025 at 8:00 pmIn regards to rules around screen time, I believe my school has a class screen time limited to 15 minutes per day. This is including use of a smart board as well and if you are to use videos, they neeed to be for a purpose. Such as a dance party video is encouraging the children to be more active, or a story time video during nap time to help them sleep and the story times cannot be more than about 5-10 minutes.
