GuestMarch 11, 2025 at 2:26 pmI don’t think that there are any rules but the only screens we have in our center are the iPads we use to stay in contact with the families. Some times we use them to show a few pics of the star student’s family or play music over the speaker

GuestMarch 12, 2025 at 10:29 pmScreen time is limited to once a week programs/videos that support circle time. Shows must support curriculum and not required to watch.

GuestMarch 16, 2025 at 8:13 pmThe TV is on as kids come in the morning. Rarely do they just watch it. It is off by 8:30 breakfast time. We again watch a soothing music video as they are laying down for naps. This is the extent of screen time here.

GuestMarch 17, 2025 at 9:36 pmWe don’t allow screen time in our care. Besides we are too busy learning things, making things, and playing that screen time isn’t an option.

GuestMarch 19, 2025 at 5:04 pmYes, we actually have pretty strict screen time rules at a child care center I’m employed with. The kids are absolutely not allowed to take out their electronic devices, phones, ipads, video games, smart watches, whatever it may be they are required to stay off of them. The only screen time they have here is when there is a movie day one time a week and no matter how long the movie is we only do it for about an hour and a half. It is actually required by licensing to how much screen time we can expose the children to so that is one of the things I like about the way things are here.
