GuestNovember 16, 2023 at 10:38 pmYes. We do not allow any screen time at my facility, with the exception of school age during the summer. We will host a movie day every once in awhile for them.

GuestNovember 20, 2023 at 6:41 pmScreen time is very limited at our facility. We only allow it on special occasions such as Christmas, unless it is educational and even with that very limited.

GuestDecember 12, 2023 at 3:26 amWe have limited screen use. At one time we did show videos for indoor recess (in the case of rain) that were active/exercise videos. We rarely use them now, because the kids tend to just stand and watch them rather than do the activity.

GuestDecember 26, 2023 at 7:08 pmYes, there are regulations to our screen time. It is very limited, for the all day class it is capped I believe at 15 minutes. Although, we only use screen time for music and movement. Even then that’s just sometimes, for the most part my class doesn’t use the SmartBoard at all.

GuestDecember 26, 2023 at 7:22 pmWe do limit the children’s time as well as what they can view. They are not allowed to be connected to the internet, which helps in a lot of ways. In the younger classrooms, they aren’t allowed to bring their electronics. We stress to parents that we aren’t responsible for the children’s electronics and if they get broke here, we are not responsible or liable for repairing or replacing it. We have the rule that children are not allowed to touch anyone else’s electronic, so if it gets broken, damaged or missing, their child is responsible for what happens to their device. We have many activities for the children, instead of electronics.

GuestDecember 28, 2023 at 5:11 amOur center has ZERO screen time for the children. We provide 1 photo a day for the parents, taken with our class Ipad and that is the only time the children are exposed to technology or any type of screen.

GuestDecember 28, 2023 at 3:40 pmOur rule at preschool is that the screen time has to be educational and limited which we have kinder in our center and they use screen time more than our younger classes.

GuestDecember 28, 2023 at 7:08 pmAt my center, we may watch an educational video about the things we are learning and listen to a story on the iPad, but that is the only screen time at school.
