With 16 children in one class, screen time is very limited and our pads are set to the child’s level and they cannot change to a different site.

The childcare center I work at offers very little screen time. The screen time we do is typical music related videos such as the wiggles, coconelon, pinkfong, etc. usually used for less that 10 minutes a day and the kids are very active during this time doing the dance moves along with the video.

Screen time is more used for dancing and interactive activities at our center.

Yes, we limit the screen time for children to 1 hour or under per day

We do have rules at my in home childcare. Each child in the house gets to pick a show, up to a 30 minute and tablet. Some do activities during screen time so each child stays under my 2 hour limit, Some days we have movie day.

Screen time is limited to educational shows, music for singing, dancing , parades ect….

We do not have i pads at our center. The only screen time they get is for movement activities, which I am ok with. I know from listening to my kids they get screen time at home.

At my childcare we limit the amount of screen time to 1 hour total for the duration of the day.

We do have tv time for a physical activities

There is an IPad for each classroom and we only turn it on when we are learning something for the week that pertains to theme and also for songs. It is used during down or transition times but, it is not used all the time in the classroom.

we have a no screen policy at my center, no matter the age.

We don’t have screens that our kids can use. Occasionally in the mornings when there’s only 1 or 2 kids we will watch some funny animal videos for about 15 minutes usually no more than 30 minutes.

We have very limited screen time at our center. We got licensed to do little games in the preschool room for 20 minutes a day per child. We rarely do it, but sometimes we do occasionally.

We dont allow screens unless it is a special treat. Even if we are listening to music on an iPad we turn the iPad away from the kids.
