GuestAugust 27, 2024 at 8:01 pmYes! We only allow student to consume about 2 hours each week. It is nearly full disintegrated with the standard day for a child, and is used primarily in transition from field trips or as a planned/educational activity.

GuestSeptember 6, 2024 at 1:19 pmWe do not allow any screens in our center. We serve children 6 weeks up to 5 years old. None of them need screen time, but they certainly won’t get it here. I’ve watched many kids walking out the door with their parent’s phone in their hands.

GuestSeptember 13, 2024 at 4:34 pmWe are not encouraged to use screen time in our preschool at all. We may utilize 3min videos pertaining to something in circle time, or play 20min shows for holiday treats. Even those instances are very rare

GuestSeptember 16, 2024 at 6:36 pmAt my facility, we only give screentime when permitted by the school. During weather events like rain or wind and kids are inside for a duration of time. Or at the discretion of the lead teacher.

GuestSeptember 24, 2024 at 9:30 pmI am working with toddlers. Our center does not allow screen time for our kids. If we want to show them specific information related to our weekly theme, me must get permission from the leadership team.

GuestSeptember 27, 2024 at 3:35 pmI am a smaller in home provider and we start our morning with some news on the tv. More so for myself, the kids rarely pay attention. Then we do take about 30-45 min of PBS shows that we play after having cleaned up while waiting for lunch to be prepared. Otherwise, we just have music playing in the background of our day.

GuestOctober 3, 2024 at 8:58 pmThe only screen time the children get at my center are when we are doing our morning circle time and we sing our good morning song and the days of the week song and they don’t see any ads during that time. other then that we play music from the tablet but the children don have anything to do with the tablet.
