I agree having animals in classroom will calm the children. It will teach how to share and take care of

    the animal.

Yes, animals help children to be caring and kind to others, including animals. This helps with their overall self regulation and building relationships.

Yes! I think animals are an amazing effective teaching tool. Animals help children learn compassion, empathy, caring for others, and a sense of responsibility. Children who care for animals also have greater self-esteem and the class builds a closer class community.

I think animals in the classroom is a great idea. It teaches the children responsibility, and can have a very calming effect.

Proper utilization of the introduction of classroom pets in educational settings promotes ideas of responsibility and routine early. Children permitted to care for and handle classroom pets explore ideas of care and handling of self. Educators with the philosophy of “look but do NOT touch” fail to provide their students with opportunities of growth for utilization in their later years.

I believe animals can be very effective learning tools for children. They show children how to be patient and loving. I would recommend teachers who want to introduce animals into their curriculm, use animal emotional support pets.

I think that animals are a great addition to the classroom. They will help engage the students and help their learning and help them learn responsibility. Animals are an easy, fun way for students to learn and feel engaged in the classroom.

I do believe using animals in the classroom is very affective because animals are a part of our everyday life.

Having a day where children’s parents bring in their pets for show and tell. Those who don’t have a pet can bring a story or a stuffed animal of their favorite animal to share.

Animals are very loving and caring. They are patient and recognize their owners who are very caring towards them and treat them equally to their children. We as teachers can learn from them, if you pat them they show their love.

An animal is a great addition to the classroom, and I’m not allowed to have a real animal in my classroom, only a fish. But one day, a child told me, ” I don’t like fish because I can not give some love.” I say that’s true, maybe we cannot touch him, but we can talk with them, and maybe when you do art, you also can show it to him. That day I added to our classroom a new dog called Nala. It is not real, but he moves and eats. The kids can take her every Friday, and when they come back, they share all they do with Nala, love to sit on circle time, and listen to them explaining with their faces showing a big smile.

I think animals are an effective tool for learning. Children being hands on with an activity that interests them will help them retain information.

Yes, many kids love animals and it’s a great way to teach them how to be loving, caring, and patient. It also helps children with responsibilities of taking care of the animals providing a gateway for self care.
