The best way to help a child recognize their emotions are to just let the tell you how they are feeling. Our center will focus on feelins, emotions, what they can look like so that kids are able to better express themselves.

I would connect with my therapist, practice meditation. Figure out a way to re-align.

Listening to the child, their concerns, what they are happy about, whatever it is they want to talk about. Just be present, be a good listener and offer engaging feedback.
