    In this situation I think it’s definitely appropriate to open up a conversation with the parent. Perhaps she has time commitments, and that’s why she’s late. It’s helpful to understand why she’s late, but also, it’s harmful for the child- at my site, the kids tend to get scared when they’re the last one left and its nearing closing time and getting dark outside. The mother knew going into this what the hours are, and if she’s consistently late, then something has to change.

    1. I realized how the website is used, and I gained helpful information on certain rules that I didn’t know before, including what needs to be displayed at the site

    2. I was surprised by WAC 110-300-04600 outlining the records that we must keep track of, and for how long we hold onto them for. Upon thinking more, it makes sense that we would need these in the case that any problems arise

    3. Yes, I’ve already learned information from them, such as the previously mentioned one about keeping records. Without the WACs, small mistakes like getting rid of records could result in trouble. I’m glad that I can now navigate the website, so I can find information if needed
