    If possible, I would try to spend as much time as you can one-on-one with a child, where they can talk you through their interests and share about themselves, which would just increase connection.

    I would highlight safety regulations for visitors (who is allowed to enter the daycare, who is allowed to be with the children, child-adult ratios), I would highlight health procedures as well around food or sanitization procedures.

    1. What did you discover about the WACs while completing the activity? I discovered the WACs were much more in depth than I expected them to be. I was surprised on how many specific rules and regulations go with each WAC as well. I also noticed they were organized in a nice way, so that the WACs will be easy to find if need be.
    2. Were you surprised by any of the WACs? I was surprised that center directors also have to go through a lengthy training and licensing process, along with the teachers in the daycare.
    3. Can you see how the WACs will influence your day-to-day practice in caring for children? Why or why not? If I was in doubt about a certain rule or situation, the WACs will be a great resource for me to base decisions off of.
