1. WACs 110-300-0160, 110-300-0320 addresses diversity and 110-300-0085 addresses collaboration with families.
2. The overall message is that when you include children’s culture into the lessons they are more likely to feel heard and welcome and want to participate.

1. While completing the activity I discovered that there are many, many policies put in place when it comes to childcare. Definitely more than people realize.
2. I would not say that I was surprised by any of the WAC’s. When it comes to keeping other people’s children safe it makes total sense that all those precautions, rules, and licenses/trainings are needed.
3. I can definitely see how the WAC’s influence every day life working at a childcare center, especially with all the records you need for each child. I think that keeping all the WAC’s in mind while I work is good though, because it’s a way to keep my center a lot more structured.
