I would first ask them if there was any specific reason they were consistently late and then work on ways to counteract that like leaving work earlier or setting reminders. I also would be conscious of their perspectives and be aware that to them 20 minutes may not seem long but I would emphasize the importance of proper pick up time for both the staff and the child.

WAC 110-300-0100 talks about collaborating with families and communities and WAC 110-300-0200 talks about the responsibility to respect cultural diversity.

1. I learned that there are a lot of WAC requirements
2. I wasn’t really surprised by anything, most of the regulations seem like common knowledge and standard practices
3. I can definitely see how these would affect my day to day work but the majority it seems like would affect the upper management and how they go about organizing everything
