Physical restraint must only be used if a child’s
safety or the safety of others is threatened … This WAC didn’t surprise me did not know that this was allowed. But I am glad that physically restraining a child is an okay thing to do if the safety of others is at stake and the policy procedures for this are taken. - Can you see how the WACs will influence your day-to-day caring practice for children? I can see how these WACs influence the day-to-day structure of your day depending on what is going on there are steps in place for you to follow and stay by to keep everyone safe, healthy, and learning in a positive environment.
