The observation and the knowledge of normal development in a child permit us to have a reference point of where each child is and what we could do to help the kids reach the milestones of his age.
What big messages do the WACs give regarding diversity and collaboration? The big message that the WACs give us is that we should provide, respect, and foment diverse learning opportunities based on the diverse types of families that participate in our program. In the same way, establishing different ways of collaboration between the families and the center creates a stronger path of learning for the children.
