MemberAugust 8, 2023 at 8:34 pmI usually try to sing or hum when I’m felling stressed dealing with a crying or tantrum in child. It’s calming for me and also tends to help calm the child.

MemberAugust 21, 2023 at 7:24 amFYI: the video was not about deep breathing but the video about how to write your mission statements from the first module
emotionally draining at times. they take a lot of energy from you but also give so much back, my voice gets tired sometimes and I feel pulled in so many directions that my head is spinning at the end of the day

MemberAugust 21, 2023 at 5:14 pmSo far the only technique I know about is deep breathing and meditation.

Meditation and taking the time to take a step back for yourself can be stress-relieving. I also enjoy setting aside time to participate in my personal hobbies. It’s always important to have time for yourself to cool down and relax.

MemberAugust 24, 2023 at 1:20 amWorking with children has taught me that once the work day is over, doing things that you as enjoy always help. Doing some form of skin care or relaxation techniques before bed always calms the mind and helps you prepare for the next day. Conversing with someone or going out to eat always helps me relieve stress and keep my mind off of stressors in my life.
