Biggest worry: noticing and preventing harmful social dynamics before damage is done.

Most interested in learning: How I can identify home life issues.

<font style=”vertical-align: inherit;”><font style=”vertical-align: inherit;”>Mi mayor preocupación es que los planes aplicados no estén dando resultados y que no estén generando aprendizajes para los niños. </font></font>

My biggest worry about keeping children safe is unknowingly harming them, such as with an unknown allergy.

There are multiple areas of ways that I worry about children’s safety and well-being when they’re in my care. I worry about accidents that could happen on a daily basis, such as falling down. I worry about children hurting another child. I worry about my own health and making sure if I’m not feeling well I get better and do not give that to another child. I worry about if there was an intruder and the amount of responsibility I would have for so many young children. Child’s safety is one of my top concerns every day I am with them.

My biggest concern is with the spread of germs and sickness through our school. With children just learning hygiene practices and immunocompromisation becoming more and more prevalent, it’s scary to think of how insidious the spread of disease can be.

My biggest worry about working in these centers or schools in general is the occurrence of emergencies. Luckily, I have not experienced anything beyond the safety drills, but if the time comes, I am unsure of how I or the children will react.

I live in a fairly safe small town, but I still worry about keeping kids safe when we go to the playground. It’s in a public place, so anybody could be there, or a child could run off. I think that’s my biggest fear. That or some kind of accident that I was unable to prevent somehow!

    1. My worry about keeping children healthy and safe is mainly in regard to times when children are harmful to one another. Especially when it is older children and a consistent issue.

    2. I am most interested in learning about how to work with children that are having a hard time with what I stated above. I would like to learn more about positive discipline.

    1. My greatest concern about keeping children healthy and safe is protecting them from contagious diseases that can spread in a daycare environment.

    2. I am most interested in learning about the stages of development in infants.

My biggest worry in regards to keeping children safe from an outside perspective is gun violence, but inside the classroom environment it would have to be climbing on things (or rather falling from them), hitting each other with toys (needing stitches), and choking. Young kids are always putting small things in their mouths and it makes me so nervous.
