I will be working with infants so my biggest fear is if there is a choking accident or if there was an allergic reaction to a food or something. Babies are so precious but small and fragile

I think in the current socio-political climate, school shootings are my biggest concern.

biggest worry is that i won’t be aware of a danger that could have been prevented, and a child gets hurt. Allergens and anaphylective allergies due to the life-threatening nature of it

My biggest worry is making a small mistake that gets somebody really hurt! Or accidentally crossing boundaries.

I worry about unpredictable factors affecting children in my care. For example, serious food allergies or diabetes can, seemingly randomly, show up quickly in a child who has had no previous signs.

My biggest worry about keeping children healthy and safe is managing allergies and being prepared for unexpected events like lockdowns, fire alarms, etc

The inability to properly help kids in homes that don`t qualify as abuse under the state but are harming the childs development regardless. I worry about how it would be out of my control but all I could do is remind myself that I am there to help them know that the whole world isn’t that way

What is your biggest worry about keeping children healthy and safe?
My biggest worry is recognizing the early signs of illness or injury, especially when children can’t clearly communicate what’s wrong. I want to make sure I act quickly and appropriately, but without overreacting. What are you most interested in learning?
I’m most interested in learning the proper safety protocols for handling emergencies and how to maintain a consistently clean and healthy environment, especially during cold and flu season.

I worry most about them falling and hurting their head. Brain trauma, especially for infants who have softer heads, is really scary and I don’t want anything like that to happen on my watch.

bullying/cyberbullying, and internet safety are what i’m concerned about, because they can sometimes be hard to spot/discourage/teach, and really detrimental to a kids well being and health. internet safety was only mildly taught when i was growing up, and its still not taught enough despite children being grown up with these devices that connect them to the internet 24/7.

My biggest concern when it comes to keeping children safe is having an intruder who is armed with weapons enter the child care center. I am most interested in learning how I could create an environment where children feel most comfortable communicating when they feel unsafe.
