With older kids, my biggest worry is that they’ll hurt themselves and I’ll be blamed for it. As a daily concern; abuse or neglect. I work with infants so I’m basically guessing what kids need all day and when they don’t stop crying it’s really hard to know if you’re doing the right thing for them.

I feel like being a parent and also wanting to be a child care provider there are a ton of things that I worry about. Like some of the other replies in this discussion and the events that recently happened one big thing I worry about is gun violence. I also worry about spreading illnesses and disease which can easily happen in a child care program. All it takes is one child to start the chain to go off.

my biggest worry about keeping kids safe is school shootings. we live now in a world where that is so common and happens so much that its sad that’s something we should have to worry about. and we have to deal with kids worrying about that too and parents too.
