GuestSeptember 7, 2025 at 1:31 amWe do not use screens in our childcare center, wich makes it easier to keep the children safe from this unhealthy diet, but it should be important for them if parents would keep up limiting the screen time at home, sadly, we can’t do anything about it.

GuestSeptember 8, 2025 at 12:40 amWhile the school where I work does not, our state does. We have to limit how much screen time we have on in the classroom to no more than 1 1/2 hours per week of “non educational content” like a movie for instance.. But we can show a snippet or two of educational things per day, but in total, the children are not permitted to exceed 2 hours total per week, including the previously mentioned time. If classes use chromebooks or ipads for learning, there is no limit.

GuestSeptember 9, 2025 at 9:24 pmWe hardly ever use screen time at my preschool. The only time it’s used is if we are showing the kids an educational video that’s only a couple minutes long.

GuestSeptember 13, 2025 at 2:50 pmWe do not have screen time at our center. A teacher may show an interactive video to get students up and moving if the weather is bad and we cannot go outside. All of our activities are interactive, learning-based, social play and we don’t have individual screens in the room (tablets, hand-held games, etc.).
