GuestSeptember 17, 2025 at 7:52 amscreen time is very rare for us, we don’t really want children to be entertained with a screen we much prefer to engage in learning activities and if we do have screen time which is like every 5 months it is only for like 30 min movies, and of course it is with parental notice.

GuestSeptember 17, 2025 at 8:41 pmOur center only uses screentime on occasions where weather leads us to indoor recesss. Occasionally when this happens, well do a dance along party to help them get some energy out.

GuestOctober 2, 2025 at 12:19 amwe do not allowed children to sit down in front of a TV at my center. If a child or children are interested in the subject that I need more information about I will look it up on my tablet if there are pictures or very short video 3 to 5 minutes long that are appropriate for my group of children then I’m a show that with them and then have a discussion afterwards.

GuestOctober 3, 2025 at 3:08 amThrough the program that I work, the policy allows the student one hour of screen time a week. our program rarely ever actually have screen time, but we will allow students screen time if they are using it for homework purposes.

GuestOctober 3, 2025 at 6:43 pmAt our center we rarely have a movie day and even when we do it’s a minimum of 30 minutes. I believe it can be good for helping children wind down after playing hard so long as it is a short break. We also have video games at the action zone where i believe they’re only allowed 20 minutes of screen time then they have to play a physical activity. I think in short increments its fine.
