GuestOctober 7, 2025 at 7:40 pmOur center caters to ages 6 weeks-12yrs. The only ages allowed screen time are pre-k and school age in the summer program. Other rooms are not allowed to use screen time without it being approved on their lesson plans.

GuestOctober 8, 2025 at 7:12 pmOur eldest school age classroom is the only room that has screens set up in the classroom. Wednesdays only- Children get one Wii turn. 5 minutes per each child in their group- MAX 20 minutes (4 players). We do have some sit down games, but the majority are dance and sport games that requires movement.Children also get one 20 minute turn on the computer to play “educational” games once a week.

GuestOctober 10, 2025 at 6:44 pmscreentime is rare if any at all for preschool and younger. For preK, I believe it is less than 30 min, and not on a regular basis, and must include a lesson. School agers, I believe it is less than 60 min, and not on a regular basis, and must include a lesson. Video with ads are discouraged.

GuestOctober 11, 2025 at 2:44 amOur childcare center does not allow screen time. If we play stories or music on the computer the screen has to be off or turned so they cannot see it. Phones and other devices are not allowed to be out or played on. The exception to that rule is if they bring their chromebook and have homework to do. Once the homework is done, it gets put away.

GuestOctober 11, 2025 at 11:34 pmWe do not have screen time as a general rule. Music is played over bluetooth speakers daily. Our school age children have rare special movie events such as at a holiday or other special event. This is not more than a few times per year.
