GuestOctober 27, 2025 at 8:54 pmYes. We use screen time as little as possible. We are only supposed to use it if it correlates to the activities/lessons we are using. For instance Go Noodle for indoor exercise, A recorded read a loud as staff set up stations.Occasionally (1-2 times a month) we may show a movie as a reward for a class party but it still is meant to be age appropriate and when we can – tie to lessons.

GuestOctober 30, 2025 at 8:21 pmYes! We are a screen free facility. Screens are only allowed if approved by administration, it’s educational and 2 minutes or less. Our staff are so used to using other resources that very rarely do they even ask for educational purposes. I love it as a parent as well! We are here to teach not use screens as babysitters.

GuestOctober 31, 2025 at 8:50 pmScreens are not available and not allowed at our facility. Teachers may nurse the internet and websites such as YouTube for class songs and stories, but the children are never watching a screen during the day.

GuestNovember 4, 2025 at 5:52 pmWe limit screen time at our center, i would say once a month. We watch a little video/movie on our holiday or one of our lessons we are doing on a Friday for ‘FUN FRIDAY”.

GuestNovember 4, 2025 at 6:58 pmWe have no screen time available for children. Teachers play music on their phones, but our rule when the children try to look at the phone is, “you can listen with your ears”

GuestNovember 4, 2025 at 7:24 pmI float as a sub throughout many preschool rooms within the school district. Some classrooms are more strict than others when it comes to screen time. Most often the screen time is used for educational videos or for movement. Some classroom’s movement time is a daily allotted time and other classroom’s use the screen time as movement for the inability to go outside based on the weather.
