At our site, screen time is only allowed during special occasions or if it is something that connects with your lesson plan.

In my childcare home, we do not use screen time unless it’s for educational songs on letters, shapes, and numbers, and that is limited to 20 minutes per day.

We do not offer screentime in our early learning care center, but screen time varies on the families at home.

We do our best to avoid screen time altogether but, on the occasions, when we do let the kids have screen time, we make sure to keep it to no more than 20 to 30 minutes.

Our childcare center program has a no screen time policy on-site. We advocate the recommendations for at home, but that is up to the families.

At my child care only school age children are allowed any screen time and it is only on special occasions like a movie day. Otherwise it’s 15 mins a day on an educational device like osmo.

We do not have any screens in our preschool. They are, however, only half day sessions.

Our center limits screen time to 30 minutes per day and teachers must be actively participating in the screen time activity. Our tablets are also used for music time, but screens must be turned away so that music is not tied to the visual on the screen.
