GuestNovember 27, 2025 at 1:47 amOnly if it is educational and supports the lesson. If we show anything outside of that scope, we need parent permission to watch it.

GuestNovember 27, 2025 at 4:06 amWe have a “no screen time at all” policy set forth at my current child care center. We use to let the children have “Movie Fridays” but we changed that a couple years ago. We don’t know how much or how little screen time the child gets at home and if we’re able at prevent it at all, even it’s during school, then that’s still something.

GuestNovember 27, 2025 at 4:21 amLimiting screen time for young children (especially under 2 years old) to zero or very minimal use.For older children, screen time is often restricted to educational purposes only and capped at a certain amount per day (e.g., 30 minutes to 1 hour). No screens during meals or nap times.Encouraging active play and social interaction instead of passive screen use.
