Students are able to view/listen to/play certain educational games and activities roughly 20 minutes a day.

At my work, the children can look at videos on an iPad as a group for circle time or practicing dances. However when not needed we strongly encourage listening with our ears during stories or songs in the iPad.

we use Marco Polo App which students get explore technology they get to see visual what they are learning in the moment like dinosaurs, outer space, calm down, food, how body works,they watch a short video that explains topic then we fill out a chart call KWL we discussed what we already know what we want to learn and then what we have learned through reading books participating in experiments/projects

Children are not offered screen time within our schools. With that being said, we ensure the children have 1.5 hours a day for outside playtime or physical activities. Many of the children bring lunch and snacks from home, we encourage family to choose healthy options, meeting the food groups.

Yes, we have screen limits in our centers. The Early Head Start Centers do not have any screen time. The Head Start classrooms have limited time of just a few minutes per day and it is for scheduled learning activities.

There is no screen time allowed at our childcare. We are asked to keep all music and technology to Alexa dots that have no screen. We are to keep our iPads up and away from kids. As much as possible avoid screen time at all costs.

We have learning pads and each child gets to decide if they want to play with them during free play and if they do they one get 5 mi to do so.

I have an in-home preschool. We do not have any i pads or game playing. We have TV time limited to teaching aids or yoga

At my daycare, we are not allowed to expose the children to any screen-time.

We don’t have any set rules, but we try not to use it too often, and only for educational purposes. Students do not have access to screens on their own. We have good morning songs played on the screen in the morning, as well as educational videos when necessary. When we are not able to go outside, we put on movement activities on the screen to keep the kids moving. The end of the day we have goodbye songs and put on a kids tv show – educational – while they wait to go home. Even then, it’s usually only on for less than ten minutes, most times even five.
