Screen time in childcare shouldn’t be okay worse if using for children under two years old. I believe you could replace “screen time “ with listening to music.

What I would do in a situation like this is explain to the parent that 20 minutes may not seem long but for a child it is definitely scary being the last child in a center. I understand that sometimes there is urgent situations but since it is the third time in the last two weeks I would have a respectful conversation about the school regulations and try to work together to help her situation.

    1. What did you discover about the WACs while completing the activity? I discovered that the WACs are long, detailed, and how easy they are to understand.
    2. Were you surprised by any of the WACs? I was not surprised by any of the WACs. I believe it was detailed enough to understand how important it is to follow rules to every child safe and healthy.
    3. Can you see how the WACs will influence your day-to-day practice in caring for children? Why or why not? Yes, I can see how the WACs will influence my day-to-day practice in caring for children because the WACs are detailed enough to know what to expect, what is needed, and how to do it.
